Facial Plastic Surgery Cases
A survey
by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
found that 85% of Americans would consider facial plastic surgery. The
most commonly
desired surgical procedures were facelifts, nose surgery, skin resurfacing
and eyelid surgery.
Facial surgery is not just for the rich and famous,
but is being requested by people of all ages and financial and ethnic
backgrounds.
One third of all facial plastic procedures are performed
on men. These are some of the results possible with facial plastic surgery:
Case 1. Rhinoplasty
This woman desired improvement to the appearance of her nose. It was
achieved by reshaping the underlying nasal bone and cartilage to give
a natural result.

Case 2. Rhinoplasty with Chin Implant
A solid chin implant was placed during a rhinoplasty for this woman.
It helped bring balance to her face and give additional improvement to
her profile.

Case 3. Otoplasty
An otoplasty reshapes the ear by recreating the normal folds of the
ear cartilage. It can be performed in children as young as 5 years of
age.

Case 4. Brow Lift and Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty
A brow lift and lower eyelid blepharoplasty was performed to rejuvenate
this woman's eyes. Small incisions were hidden within the hairline for
the brow surgery.

Case 5. Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing was used to lessen the wrinkles and lip stick
bleed lines around this woman's lips.

Case 6. Brow Lift, Lower Blepharoplasty, Neck Liposuction and Chin
Implant
Multiple procedures were performed to provide a comprehensive rejuvenation
for this woman. A brow lift, lower blepharoplasty, neck liposuction and
chin implant were performed.

Case 7. Facelift with Lower Blepharoplasty and Rhinoplasty
A facelift improved this woman's jawline and upper neck. A lower blepharoplasty
and rhinoplasty were performed at the same time.

Case 8. Deep Chemical Peel
A deep chemical peel dramatically improved this woman's severely wrinkled
and sun-damaged skin.
