Dr. Heena Peshwani earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) before pursuing her Doctor of Audiology degree from the prestigious School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences’ department (Callier Center) of UTD. Her excellence in the field of Audiology has earned her numerous recognitions, such as the James Jerger award of excellence in student research by American Academy of Audiology. Her student research projects have been presented at national conferences. While at the university, she travelled internationally on a humanitarian trip to South Africa, where she traveled to rural areas and schools to conduct hearing screenings, and cared for underserved populations by providing and fitting donated hearing instruments as well as training the local staff.
As a Doctor of Audiology Dr. Heena Peshwani, Au.D. enjoys helping people with hearing loss, tinnitus and other ear issues. She particularly appreciates the opportunity to help her patients improve their hearing health and communication functionality. Her special interests include adult diagnostics, adult amplification, tinnitus management, and aural rehabilitation. She keeps herself up to date with the advances in hearing aid technology. Dr. Peshwani understands patients’ needs and helps find the best hearing devices that meet patients’ needs and budgets. Patient care is her top priority, and she works closely with Dr Kevin Lunde to provide the best patient care.
Dr Peshwani lives in Allen with her husband and two children. Her hobbies and interests include spending quality time with friends and family, cooking, practicing yoga and traveling.
